Great for reducing inflammation, pain associated with inflammation, detoxing the body, protects the liver tissue, cleans and purifies the blood, eases symptoms of coughing and colds, boosts immunity, reduces bad cholesterol and much more. Warning: turmeric does stain things orange so be very careful when using. Ingredients: 1-2 TBSP honey (to taste) 1 1/2 tsp dried turmeric 1 inch fresh ginger root minced 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon Black Pepper Hot Water Lemon Wedge Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional) Directions: Mix honey and turmeric together until its a well blended paste. Add in the ginger, cinnamon and 1-2 grinds of black pepper, and stir. Spoon the honey mixture into a mug, add very hot but not boiling, water to fill the mug. Squeeze in a lemon wedge and add the cayenne pepper, if desired. Allow this to steep 3-4 min. before drinking.
